My oh so neglected blog! I have returned.
So, since its been so so long since i last updated, and all my 'interesting' topics I had in mind to blog about just totally vanished, i'll blog about the most recent event. OLYMPICS!!
Olympics.. Does anyone remember the cute lil' girl who sang on stage during the opening? So unless you've been living under a rock as i have, shes a fake. Yeah, apparently, the REAL singer was too.. unpolished. In other words, not 'star' material. I'm gonna keep my thoughts to myself, though i'm sure all of you mirror my feelings towards this.. replacement issue.
On the 8th of August of '08, i watched with pride, honour and dignity, my mother race throw the most awesome opening i've ever seen in my life! (through the idiot box, sadly) its was kinda enlightening, and at the same time, interesting. Okay, i'm probably boring you peeps with the adjectives and stuff. :P So i'll cut straight to the point!
Heh. There is no point actually. HAHA. how bloody sad man. I am annoyed with China, though. Not just because of China's blunders in the opening ceremony, but (i know this will sound rather silly and childish of me) also because they're sweeping away all the gold medals. I suppose this was ignited when I was watching a match on one particular day....
*flashback!*
I never thought i would feel this way towards Malaysia, but watching the match between the err.. Malaysian badminton woman (forgot her name) against some spiky haired China lady, I realized that I am Pro-Malaysia man! Despite the political unrest and many flaws Malaysia may have, Malaysia BOLEH!! I'm not freaking kidding you.
*flashback ended somewhere in the middle of that.*
So, this concludes my perspective of Olympics 2008. And I still salute China for being an amazing host this year. And Chong Wei ah, next four years also can mah! (note my slang) (how Malaysian am I?)

Oh no! This is only my second post for July. This is kind of bad.. I don't wanna be a lazy blogger. :P
I gonna blog about one of my favourite stories from Marvel What If: Civil War. So in case you didn't know, Marvel What Ifs consists of a number of short comics depicting an alternate reality or what could have been. Hence, 'What If'. get the gist? So this short story is a what if of the Planet Hulk comic.
Summary of Planet Hulk: (Words in Gold-ish Colour=Individual being ; Words in Light Purple=The Group these individuals belong to.)
The Illuminati (Charles Xavier - X-men, Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic - Fan 4, Dr Strange, Black Bolt - Inhumans) decide that the Hulk causes too much damage to the city every time he rampages. So they blast him off into space by tricking him into entering this 'broken satellite' (cause the Hulk wanted to do good and save the world, see.) (but was tricked! grr!), which was supposed to send him to an uninhabited green planet with no intelligent beings . However, the space shuttle went cookoo! and landed the Hulk on this gladiator planet ruled by the Red King (this weakling, damn lame, red-skinned alien who owns a bad-ass robotic suit. Duh!..) So the Hulk fights. And to make a long story short, the Hulk and his new found team, Warbound, defeat the Red King and peace ensues. Not for Long though... The space shuttle the hulk came in EXPLODES! destroying the entire planet and all of its inhabitants except the Warbound. Oh, and The Hulk's new queen, Caiera dies too. Shes one bad ass , powerful chick. So the Hulk gets.. Real mad.. REAL mad. (haha.) And he leads his Warbound to earth and beats the crap out of the Illuminati. (this comes under World War Hulk - sequel of Planet Hulk) Turns out, stupid insect alien Warbounder blew up the ship cause he believes that the Hulk was made for destroying worlds (Stupid insects). So all ends well for earthlings. And Bruce Banner (the Hulk) is now in a comatose state.
Get it? okay, the short version is also a little long. :)
What If version:
The question: What If Caiera survived and the Hulk died? (interesting, eh? eh??)
And the answer is, she absorbs all the power from the gladiator planet, which is called Sakaar by the way, since she her source of power is the planet. So she becomes even more Bad-Ass.. Seriously.. like... REAL Bad-ass. She bloody chopped off Iron Man's head in one second. HAHA. yes, she is A LOT less merciful than the Hulk. :P Oh and the ending for the What If version is rather nice. :) and quite sweet.
I posted the last 3 pages of the What If version. But it had to be broken down into 5 different parts.. haha. Just read it from top to bottom if you want.

I know i said i'll post when i woke up. But that didn't happen. :) so i'll post now!
So many things have been going on. And i mean many! first of all, I managed pimp my blog banner thing. I think its pretty cool now. :) and the picture used consists of Marvel comic heroes. Whoo! :P I want a background.. thats next on my list. :D
And I just found out Guy Sebastian has short hair now. Haha! I saw his video, 'Elevator Love', i think. And he has short hair in it. :) The song was okay.
Well, i kinda forgot what i'm supposed to blog about since i delayed for so long. :) But i do know that I got a few books and comics! haha. Let me list the stuff i got. :P
- Marvel What If: Civil War (damn nice, man.)
- Annihilation: Conquest (ooooo.... haven't read it. Can't wait though.)
- Elric (forgot what the full title was)
- Forgotten Realms! Realms of War Anthology (forgotten realms.. *drools...*)
Thats about it. :) i have so much to read! and exams are nearing with each passing day... Will I have time to read it all... Or will it have to wait... *suspense* Haha.. I'm being overly dramatic.
Err... What else... Oh yeah! apparently, theres gonna be a Captain America & Thor movie. :) Seperate, not two in one. Hehe! And Avengers, too. Cant wait! I wonder who'll be playing Thor and Captain America.. They both have to blond, hunky and... hero material. :) i hope they don't use wrestlers. Imagine seeing a Samoa Joe movie. Haha!!

What on earth, right? And we were gonna starve for 30 hours straight the very next day. But Xyang's house was extremely fun! I wont mention the crazy stuff we did. But i'll tell you one thing, more than 1 pair of underwear was broken. Haha! Torn and over the head. if you know what i mean.. ;)
I just realized that Wesleyans are nice, and by nice i mean sporting and friendly all the time. :)
